New Journal Strenae: Recherches sur les livres et objets culturels de l’enfance

The French journal Strenae, published by the National Center for Children’s Literature (Joie des Livres/French National Library) has just released its first issue. It is in an open access journal not only on children’s literature and publishing, but also on oral and material children’s culture, studied from historical, literary, aesthetic or sociological perspectives.

The journal welcomes thematic issues suggested by one or several scholars, and independant articles in its “varia” section.

Here is a presentation of the journal in French, German and English: http://magasindesenfants.hypotheses.org/files/2010/06/La-revue-Stren%C3%A6-1.pdf
